123Dentist launches Clinic Leadership Program to create career pathways for and support growth of Office Managers

123Dentist has launched the Clinic Leadership Program

123Dentist has launched the Clinic Leadership Program, a training and professional development program that helps Office Managers across the network’s 450-plus clinics learn new skills, grow their careers, and lead with confidence.

The program includes virtual and in-person courses that give Office Managers hands-on guidance to improve day-to-day operations and build strong clinic teams, resulting in better, more consistent care for patients. It is free for Office Managers in the 123Dentist network.

123Dentist is one of the first dental support organizations in Canada to offer an ongoing program like this that is dedicated to Office Managers’ growth and career development. The program advances the company’s commitment to elevating dentistry by strengthening how dental team members build their careers.

“The 123Dentist Clinic Leadership Program is an investment in our Office Managers. It creates clearer career pathways and opportunities for these important members of our team to continue growing with our network,” says Jeff Leger, CEO at 123Dentist. “By bringing Office Managers together, we’re also creating a community where these leaders can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.”

“Our Office Managers play an essential role in our clinics and help ensure the best experience possible for our patients,” adds Dr. Chandan Advani, Chief Dental Officer at 123Dentist. “We’re proud to offer the 123Dentist Clinic Leadership Program, which helps them build on existing skills while deepening their knowledge and expertise in areas that are valuable for their growth.”

Built on feedback and success of existing workshops

The courses in the 123Dentist Clinic Leadership Program were developed based on feedback from Office Managers. They help Office Managers learn skills such as how to hire and manage a strong team, how to communicate confidently with patients, and how to support dentists in treatment planning.

The program builds on the success of 123Dentist’s Office Managers Essentials workshop, which more than 300 Office Managers in the network have completed since fall 2025.

During those sessions, Office Managers have come together to learn the basics of what it takes to keep a dental clinic running well day to day. They leave with a practical playbook of clear strategies, processes, and actions that they can implement right away at their clinic to improve operations and patient care.

“It was the most role-specific and immediately applicable training I’ve experienced,” said Quincy, Treatment Coordinator at Luxe Dental in Sant John, NB, who participated in the Office Manager training. “It truly spoke to the realities of our position and provided tools I can implement right away. I left feeling supported, less alone in the day-to-day hurdles, and grateful to know have a network I can lean on for advice and perspective.”

“It was a fantastic opportunity for the Office Managers to connect and collaborate. I really appreciated it and would love to participate in more,” added Ainslie, Office Manager at Max Dental and Olympic Village Dental in Vancouver, BC.

123Dentist will continue to gather feedback from Office Managers to ensure its Clinic Leadership Program best serves the needs of its Office Managers across Canada.
