123Dentist partners with RFPJQ to provide access to high-quality dental care for Quebec children and youth

123Dentist has partnered with the Regroupement des fondations pour la protection de la jeunesse du Québec (RFPJQ), a network of 11 regional foundations dedicated to the well-being of youth in child protection services, to ensure access to high-quality oral healthcare services for vulnerable children and youth in Quebec.

The partnership involves 123Dentist committing $100,000 to support dental care for children and teens who are followed by Quebec’s youth protection services.

The funds support RFPJQ’s Smile Together Mission, a program that ensures access to vital oral healthcare services, including orthodontic treatments, preventive or urgent care, and procedures to relieve pain or support oral hygiene. If not for the program, these are care services that participants may otherwise not receive.

Championing dental professionals’ role in improving overall health

123Dentist’s partnership with RFPJQ advances its commitment to elevating dentistry by leading and supporting initiatives that highlight the important role dental care plays in Canadians’ overall health.

This includes initiatives such as supporting a new lobby at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry, and launching the Clinic Leadership Program, which gives Office Managers across the 123Dentist network opportunities to build their skills and careers.

123Dentist will continue to pursue opportunities that expand access to care and highlight the essential role of dental teams in individuals’ overall health and well-being. Research increasingly shows that good oral health is linked to reduced risks of heart disease, stroke, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, gastrointestinal disease, and other conditions that affect quality of life.
